Today 21st November 2017 is a 4th birthday for FUNcube-1 ( AO- 73 ) since its launch in the year 2013.
"Congratulations and HAPPY BIRTHDAY "
The satellite has been a key player for me not only with many contacts, but also for its role in demonstrations,exhibitions and STEM
related work.

I  therefore offer my thanks and appreciation to all that have been involved in the project including radio amateurs for the contacts.
Their valuable time and effort, dedication and work, has been an inspiration for our hobby and education.
Likewise may I also offer my congratulations to the FOX - RadFX  (AO-91)  project and launch teams on the recent success.

Indeed many projects have or will be key players in our hobby.

I have a python script that emulates a simple hamlib server (which does 
some conversion to control SDRSharp) that GPredict can use.

Should run on Windows or Linux (careful on Linux with newlines, you may

I use it all of the time running Gpredict and this script on a Raspberry 
pi which then controls SDRSharp running on a Windows 10 machine 
elsewhere on my small network.

SAT Gridders,

TNX for all the Q's last night from EM67/68. Tonight, I'll
be in northern MS, then to northern LA until after Thanksgiving.
My return route to the home QTH will be similar. Operation
will be strictly Holiday-Style (HIHI). QSOs will be uploaded
to LoTW when we get back in EN91 the first week of December.

Also, TNX to KG5CCI for posting the SO50 pass recording from
last night on Twitter! It was the first time my XYL was able
to actually hear one of my Rover activations as if it was happening
real time. Previously, she had only heard the noisey & garbled audio
from my little digital recorder.  :o)

Detailed doppler measurements confirm that NASA's scientific
6U Cubesat EcAMSat is object 43019 (1998-067NG). It was
launched from the ISS yesterday at 08:05 UTC.

It has a data downlink on 437.095 MHz.

Good morning fellow satelliteers!

Just a reminder that an Argentinian team featuring LU3YK, LU5FF, LU7VB,
LU7YS, LU8YD and LU9VEA will be active from San Cristobal, Galapagos
Islands (Grid EI59) as *HC8LUT* between November 29 to December 8,
2017.They plan to operate HF-6m and satellites. The focus on satellites
will be on AO-7, FO-29 and FM satellites (including AO-91 if available).

I have been in contact with Alejandro, LU8YD, and he informed me that they
will use a pair of Icom IC-7000, through a 5 elements VHF and 10 elements
UHF yagis. Satellite ops will be secondary since the radios will be shared
with the HF operation. They will try work as many passes as they can, with
good coverage towards the United States.

Please keep it civil and avoid working them repeatedly. Let's give
everybody a chance!

I will be in touch with the team during the expedition and will try to pass
as much information as I can.

Confirmations will be available on LoTW, Clublog and EQSL.
