[amsat-bb] slightly OT SO-50 rove on Tuesday September 5th

A bit OT, but a question comes to mind:

Oregon is currently under a Huge Smoke Cloud from forest fires.(pretty much
the entire State).  Here is So Oregon, visibility is 1/2 mile and ceiling at
the airport is 2200. Ash particulate is falling and visible to the eye.

Do these conditions impact satellite contacts, LEO or otherwise?
