Tried today over India but was unable to hear. I was using an arrow antenna. Will try with a higher gain antenna soon.

 Birds-2 digipeaters beacons on this morning at 1444 UTC however only BHUTAN-1 and UiTMSAT were transmitting beacons. MAYA-1 was not on !! Great signals even at a max 13 degree elevation here in DM42 grid  JACK  KC7MG
