[amsat-bb] ao 92 fox satellite telemetry reception issue

Just to add a bit: I think the discussion got a bit twisted around talking
about TNCs. Fox telemetry is NOT AFSK, which I believe TNCs are intended
to decode. Since TNCs deal with higher audio frequencies, an audio feed to
them does not necessarily work for FoxTelem.

What you need is audio out of your radio that does not have low frequencies
filtered out. As Zach said, kind of down to 0Hz :-) The problem is that
most radios DO filter out frequencies below 200Hz because that is where the
"subaudible" CTCSS aka PL tones are. It might work to use the data/TNC
output of the radio. Unfortunately most radios spec the high frequency
cutoff of their data output but not the high frequency.

As was said earlier, an SDR is a far better option. Even if you have an
SDR dongle not supported by FoxTelem, you can use an SDR program like SDR#
or HDSDR to demodulate, and then feed the unfiltered audio output to
FoxTelem using something like "Virtual Audio Cable".
