John, if the footprint hits HA and the west coast, you will get lots of action. It happens.

(Pali will be very windy most of the time (lots of traffic noise)....hard to hear and hold the antenna)

Have fun...we are jealous !!!

Just a reminder ......
I will be in Hawaii December 3 - 14 and will on two islands, Oahu and Maui. I hope to rove BL01, BL10 and BL11. The Hawaiian Islands appear to have ten (10) different grids and I hope I could work all of them. I can only work FM satellites AO91 and AO92. I will also listen for Lilisat-2 but haven't any success in my home Grids of CN87.
Has anyone worked Hawaii from the West Coast? I will be trying from Bellows AFS or the Pali Lookout or another spot on Oahu with some of the low east (for me) facing orbits.
