Tests on AO-27 showed that D-STAR fails if the frequency is more than
1.5 kHz off, that means there are times when you will not be able to
access or hear the satellite using 5 kHz steps. The IC-9100 can be
fine tuned and computer controlled, I'm not sure about any other
D-STAR radios, maybe the IC-7100 can be too.
