[amsat-bb] Maintenance depot or individual to repair an ICOM IC-821

Mac,
Ask the person realizing the repair to check Q42 and Q43 (RN2425) in the
main unit. Many IC-821H presented a problem with low power, including mine.
The problem is normally due to a partial damage of Q42 and/or Q43
transistors in the power control circuits (for both VHF and UHF). It is
advisable to replace both transistors by a part that can tolerate higher
power levels. A p-channel switching mosfet can do the job.
