Steve,
Users with registration code don't have to pay again for the new
version. My "Downloads" web page says clearly: "The program will be
installed as Demo version." and  "The full versions can be activated by
entering a registration code."
The registration code is valid also with new program versions, see
http://www.dk1tb.de/downloadinfo.htm

I use Installshield Express to generate the setup files. This tool
doesn't generate "Updates" that can be applied to the current version.
It  requires to un-install the current version before it installs a  new
one. I have mentioned that also on the "Downloads" web page (under 2e).
The Installshield professional  versions that generate such "Updates"
cost  3 or 4  times as much  as the Express version.

In review of the SatPC32 site, Only a demo version is available and there's no "Update(r)" version that can be applied to current versions that I can find. What is really the case? Is this going to be available as an update for current registered users of SatPC32 12.8c, or do we have to pay for a full blown program via the AMSAT store? From what I see the AMSAT store does not provide a update link, only to purchase a new program entirely. I don't see any indication that the AMSAT store is providing the 12.8d version updater. As a matter of fact, it does not even say what version of SatPC32 is being offered. Steve NS3L
