[amsat-bb] My two cents on this BBS vs. " A forum"

It sounds like you're asking more for a wiki rather than a forum. A wiki
would be nice. This is what it could look like:
http://www.amateur-radio-wiki.net/index.php?title=Satellite. Anyone can
create an account and edit it.

This AMSAT-BB is essencially a forum, except it's done via email rather
than on a website (like QRZ for example). To your point, a forum is much
better indexed and searchable than an email reflector like this (and so is
a Wiki).

There's always the archives <http://www.amsat.org/pipermail/amsat-bb/> too.
To search the archives, it's best if you type site:
www.amsat.org/pipermail/amsat-bb/ after the search term like this.
