[amsat-bb] AO-85 Safe Mode

TNX for the additional information. I have heard it in safe mode but not this many days in a row. But I have only been on the birds since the beginning of the year. I was worried it was a terminal problem. 73 Mike  K4MIA

Just a note that this usually happens toward the end of the time when it is out of the sun (in eclipse).   It should resume regular transponder mode when it re-enters the sun.  There seems to be an odd bug which I have not yet figured out such that under some circumstances it stays in safe model and has to be commanded back on.

When the batteries get low it goes into safe mode to protect them.
