Yes, Steve.  People are quite literally losing sleep over it.  

We are trying to figure out if we can restore passwords from backup
files without affecting anyone who has done a password reset in response
to yesterday's e-mails.

Should anyone have any urgent purchases to complete, send a note to
webmaster at amsat.org and we will work to get your order through manually.
