Hello FM,
I’m new to Sat work and at the moment I’m only with handheld.
I use Alaska Arrow on 3pod with Kenwood TH-D72 Radio, works well, I also have the LP145435HH from Anjo Antenna it’s smaller, good reception, but not able to make qso yet.
I work AO-85 / AO-91 / AO-92 / SO-50 / ISS (not yet tried)
Waiting for Diwata2 and some other, I think.
I want to install some simple antennas at my home QTH, I have not the possibility to go for a rotatable solution. (AZ/EL) not possible.
I can put the antennas on my mast 10m high and 80m above sea level, very good takeoff all directions.
What would be the best solution to work the birds ?
I read a lot Turnstile antenna / Eggbeater/ others …. I know it a compromise but it’s better to sit in the shack than in the rain or cold outside 😊
Thanks in advance for your info on this subject.
73 Rudi / ON7CL.
