[amsat-bb] ANS-254 AMSAT News Service Special Bulletin - AO-92 to Try Imaging Hurricane Florence September 13-14

We'll be trying to get things up and running to support this at VT!

Our ground station is basically down at the moment for upgrades (has
been for a while, manual operation only on site, no arm chair remote
stuff at the moment or full up automation yet hi hi!, but we're slowly
working on that!).  We're not sure how bad things will get on those days
in SW VA weather wise.  Myself and a colleague (and hopefully a student
or two) are planning to MacGyver a few things to support these passes
manually from the site to collect as much high speed data as we can
weather permitting!  Plan B is a separate setup that may be more
'expeditious' using personal gear, but again....not sure how bad the
weather might get.....

We'll do our best!  And we heavily encourage others to participate, this
could look really cool!  (is this the proof of concept of a satellite
arm of SKYWARN....that could be neat....?)
