Thanks for your suggestion Greg.

I have manged to fix the problem by resetting the modem back to default
settings.  In the process if doing that I also lost all my port forwarding
parameters for other applications that I run.

Very annoying as that the firmware update was automatically done by my ISP
and after I called them and explained the situation they asked for a fee to
get the problem fixed by the tech team...............a bloody joke !

What I could not understand was the foxtelem upload was not working but
funcube data was ok.

Anyway all good for now :)
