[amsat-bb] Pass recording

+1 on monitoring the audio from the recorder and splitting it after the
recorder if you need to.
My old Olympus recorder (WS-822, not in production) only monitors the audio
when recording too. It's having issues though and I switched to my Zoom H1,
but it monitors the audio whether recording or not. I have missed recording
passes several times because of that.
