[amsat-bb] Transponders For Rent???

Wouldn't the fact the uplink wasn't happening on amateur radio
frequencies or perhaps indirectly then backhauled over the internet
then uplinked on Commerical frequencies remove the "amateur radio
component"? thus bring into question whether it's really open and
within the ethos of the hobby? it would be like MMDVM which doesn't
really appeal to me.
