Listen for amateur radio station AL2C, a special event station
commemorating the state of Alabama’s Bicentennial on Saturday, November
16. Several groups have activated AL2C throughout this bicentennial year
which wraps up on Alabama Day on December 14, 2019 marking the 200th year
of statehood.  Pinson Valley High School Amateur Radio Club will operate as
AL2C on November 16, 2019 from their school-based amateur radio club
station from EM63 on Amateur Radio Satellites and HF bands. Pinson Valley
High School was named an Alabama Bicentennial School of Excellence by
Governor Kaye Ivey in recognition of their bicentennial school community
