At about 7 minutes in to the video, he talks about the APRS feed on the
Geo Ku band downlink (one satellite covers the USA and the other covers
Europe. He demonstrates how you can send an APRS message into the APRS
system anywhere on Earth and it will come down on that Ku band channel.
Although he demonstrates it with an AP that feeds into the Internet APRS
system, at least he mentions the RF links. 144.39 in NorthAmerica,
144.800 in Europe, etc, plus the several APRS Amsats
http://aprs.org/sats.html
This could be useful for anyone in the wilderness to check the Ku channel
for traffic, and he can send his response via HF APRS, or Satellite APRS.

Hi All,
Othernet YouTube video:
Here is a brand new YouTube video for Othernet.
Note that the skills developed to receive the Ku band SES-2 satellite
signal, is exactly what would be required to receive the 10 GHz Ku band
downlink signal from an eventual ham band GEO sat over the Americas.
