As I was roaming about the web, I came across this patch antenna design.

Has anyone on the list used something like this? What was your experience, if so?

My rotator setup is slowly taking shape, located in the attic due to roof access issues, so wind loading is not a factor. (If it becomes one, I have bigger problems.. not impossible given Texas weather lately.)
