Sorry to say it, but if you want a sure-fire way to get younger people (and
I'm one of them) interested in learning about radio equipment and satellite
communications, this is probably one of the best ways to do it.
It's not going to be any worse than what seems to get fired around via SSTV
on the HF bands...
