No.  The manufacturers of preamps and other electronics for satellite and EME amateur radio is alive and well.  They are in Germany and can be found at https://www.ssb.de .

For many years, their products were sold in the USA by Gerry Rodski of SSB Electronic USA.  I know Gerry's wife had a stroke and that Gerry has cut back his sales and service activity.

You can still buy SSB-Electronic GmbH products from HRO at https://www.hamradio.com .
