Queen Elizabeth II visited NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in 
Greenbelt, Md., Tuesday morning. NASA astronaut Michael Foale and NASA 
Administrator Mike Griffin hosted the queen and introduced her to the 
Expedition 15 crew members as they orbited the Earth.

Commander Fyodor Yurchikhin and flight engineers Oleg Kotov and Suni 
Williams greeted Queen Elizabeth from the International Space Station. 
The crew members each spoke briefly to the queen describing life on the 
space station and the importance of human space flight.
