He and Anderson officially swapped crews when his custom-made seat liner
was swapped out in the Soyuz spacecraft docked to the station. Anderson
is wrapping up a four-month stay aboard the station. He will return to
Earth on Discovery, which is slated to undock Nov. 4. Tani is scheduled
to leave the station later this year.
Discovery also delivered the Harmony module, which will be attached to
the station Friday. In addition, the STS-120 crew will conduct the first
of five scheduled spacewalks Friday.
STS-120 is the 23rd shuttle mission to visit the station.
