my first satellite contact tonight via ISS cross band repeater over VK

I worked VK1NPW
(yes a local - dont laugh)
also heard VK5??? and VK7 BBW ???

i agree, DOPPLER correction is VERY important!!!
(i learnt and heard first hand tonight, i will do better next time)
5 and 10khz seemed to work well for me.
