[sarex] Yuri's 50th . . . and Alan?

I may be a bit off topic, but since on April 12th Arissat-1 will be urned on to celebrate Yuri Gagarin's 50 years of the first man in space, what about Alan B. Shepard, which will be on May 5th?

Also would like to know if there is any amateur radio special event or activation in the USA to commemorate both.
