Information:
I listened to the ARISS contact on 5/9/2011 With the Indiana School.
Usually, the sigs from the ISS are quite strong. This contact was not that
way. The sigs were about S7 or so even with my large KLM 2 meter beam
tracking the ISS with a VHF preamp at the mast.
I hope this helps any diagnosing you may need.
I was part of the Fair Lawn, NJ school contact and the sigs were + 20db to
40db from about 8 degrees into the noise at the end of the contact. The
contact was very exciting and very uplifting to the 250+ people there that
day.
Keep up the great things you guys do.

Subject: [sarex] ARISS signal reports wanted
Hi all,
The contact today with Greenville was the first time we have used the
Ericsson radio from the Columbus module on the ISS. We have received some
reports that the signal may been lower than from past contacts. Please
pass along your thoughts on how the signals seemed to be. We also have
several contacts on Saturday, so if you listen, please tell us how it
sounded to you.
Thanks for the help.
