I didn't say it should be the internet to the exclusion of ham radio.
What I said was that people should be spending their time doing something
constructive that benefits ham radio, rather than poking holes in other
people's ideas. The internet has its role to play in the modern world.
Systems which link the internet with ham radio like NOS and APRServe make
ham radio visible to a lot of non-hams and can generate interest among
non-hams.
