I also find the way journalists report things wird. The first requirement it
seems for some journalists is ignorance! What else could you say?

I drive arround in this car (generally described as an old bomb), well, a
1973 Landrover which is made of aluminium and yes it does have its short
commings, but I have never seen the aluminium rust! In the vacuum of space
unprotected steel will not rust, in fact, even very reactive metals such as
Sodium or Potasium would not corrode.
