The Western Albemarle High School in Crozet, Virginia, USA is scheduled
to have an amateur radio contact with the international space station
next week. Scheduling requests have been submitted to the International
Space Station scheduling teams for:
First choice: Wednesday 2001-09-19 at 13:03 UTC
Second choice: Thursday 2001-09-20 at 12:07 UTC.
We will probably not know until Monday or Tuesday which of these passes,
if either, the crew can support. These are both direct contacts with
Western Albemarle and everyone is welcome to listen to the ISS downlink
on 145.800 MHz. There are no plans to webcast the event.
