Hello Friends,
I just been listening to Commander Kozun from International Space Station
ISS.
My QTH is near Zwickau in the eastern part of Germany near the border to the
Czech Republic, that means that I also hear the ISS when it starts passing
over the western russia and I recognized that Valeri usually starts to talk
with russian stations when he gets in range of russia.
Well, I'm a pupil and learning russian now for some weeks, so I was able to
understand some things he said in russian. (after I listened to my tape
again and again,hi)
He worked several russian as long as I copied him, seems also that he met
some old friends.
He also said to be qrv again on the next pass (20:40UTC for Europe!)
so stay in your shack.
And I also heard something confusing. He said something like "I'll switch to
channel B1 next over...".
Does anyone know what that means?
What is Channel B1?
Good luck on hunting RS0ISS for a qso, that is what I still do.
73 de Michael, DG1CMZ!
