I had one customer bring his Arrow Antenna back for a refund.  "This  
design cannot possibly work!" he, an engineer, declared.

Since it was now "open stock," I bought it myself. And am using it to  
this day for presentations and demos. Successfully ...

I haven't measured it. I would imagine it is somewhere between 6db and  
12db gain on either band. It "captures" SO-50 and AO-51 so well that  
you almost feel like you are "cheating..." - but I am preachin' to the  
choir here.
