Above that article is an explanation that this was one of the news
releases that the Project OSCAR group made on November 15,
1961.  We are closing in on the 50th anniversary of the OSCAR I
launch, and there will be bulletins and articles from that time posted
in the weekly ANS bulletins as well as in the AMSAT Journal as part
of the 50th anniversary commemoration.
