[amsat-bb] Downlinks and Beacons

HI Folks;

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!

Reading the thread on receiving the weather satellites has sparked a bit 
in me. I would like to be able to capture the telemetry and beacons from 
amateur satellites -- Ive got a 2m/440 vertical and an HF wire. An Icom 
706mk IIG and a computer running kubuntu linux. Any input or suggestions 
would be most appreciated
