2.4 had no impact, as it worked well on AO-10 and AO-13 in mode B.
High orbit meant more time and more relaxed Doppler adjustment.

Back in the AO-40 (sobsob) days there were several Dxpeditions that were on. Whether there was more bandwidth, 2.4Ghz receive, operator discipline or whatever. It worked quite well. Those were the days my friends!

A cooperative effort from everyone would be needed to maximize the QSOs. If
everyone has their power cranked to 11 and they keep calling, you'll never
hear the 5 watt signal of K1N when they attempt to respond to someone.
That's probably too much to ask though. Maybe the only way to do a satellite
DXpedition in an entity as rare as this is to have everyone register their
interest, then assign skeds and have the DXpedition operator call through
the list pre-prepared for each pass.
