[amsat-bb] AO-85

The other morning I attempted AO-85, listening to the down link on
145.980.  I just sat down and listened to the recording of that pass.  At
the time I thought I was not making it into the sat, but upon listening to
the recording I found that I indeed was making it, and at times quite
strong.  I was using the Arrow, two FT-60's, and headphones, but during the
pass I could have sworn I was not making it, as I was not hearing
myself...just squelch.  I did learn from that pass though that AO-85 was
much clearer on 145.975 in the latter stages, or after it passed the posted
Max El for that pass.

Just wondering if anyone else experienced the same scenario as I.  I did
tweak a few things with coax and radio programming last evening, and that
seemed to make a noticeable improvement on the SO-50 (03:07Z) pass last
evening.
