Red,
At 36N in EM65, the best pass I could find was a -1.4 degree elevation. All the rest were worse.
Looks like our friends to the south are going to have their very own satellite.
Just for fun I ran Tampa and it gives well over 2 hours a day of coverage. I bet Hector will be
pleased. Hi Hi!
73s,
Alan

<I loaded the pre-launch keps for LAPAN-A2 that were provided here:

<Using the SatPC32 Tracking, Preview menus, I was in the footprint on a
<couple of passes. The max elevation was less than one degree on one pass
<and less then two degrees on the other. I am located at 33.323 N
<latitude. When they revise those keps, if the inclination turns out to
<be higher than was indicated in the preliminary keps, there is a chance
<that I may be able to use that satellite, especially since it is running
<5 watts.
