[amsat-bb] DIY Projects

This may be OLD stuff to many of you experienced ops., but new to me.  I was wondering if there had been any individual DIY projects in the past for building an AZ/EL or Pan/Tilt using robotics?  Of course, for our purposes weight and wind load would be a factor.  I am not interested in "toy size", as many of the Arduino projects are.
