The Airspy Mini is a very good SDR, you have not made a mistake. At 1,296MHz
you'll probably need a LNA.

Has anyone bought out a satellite specific SDR ?

The funcube dongle is probably the best ?

I have a hack rf as well as rtl sdr and sdr play
