I don't see why not. I have LOTW matches for AO-7 QSO's where the band
is specified as 2M. Matter of fact my logging program uploads the
downlink frequency only for sat QSO's and I have hundreds if not
thousands of matches. When I have cards checked by a field checker they
are only looking for a satellite not frequencies.
