It would be easier to use GPREDICT (http://gpredict.oz9aec.net/).

The easiest option should be to use Ubuntu Mate (
https://ubuntu-mate.org/blog/ubuntu-mate-for-raspberry-pi-3/) and then use
the PPA (https://launchpad.net/~gpredict-team/+archive/ubuntu/ppa).
