Hey John!

LilacSat-2 is really unique... there are multiple telemetry formats on a
couple of different frequencies & then there's an FM voice transponder with
yet another telemetry stream sub-audio.

If you scroll down to the "LilacSat-2" section on this page:

https://github.com/daniestevez/gr-satellites

... there is a great technical explanation. The most thorough decoders are
available in the GNU-Radio platform at the link above and the original
software from the project team is at:

https://github.com/bg2bhc/gr-lilacsat

However, if you prefer Windows, the "HS" (high-speed) version of the UZ7HO
sound modem software includes a demodulator for the 4800 baud stream. A
.KSS file from that type of demod can be provided to the appropriate
decoder at the following page and you can turn it into human-readable
"real" telemetry:

Finally, be sure to try the 144.350 FM voice uplink (no CTCSS) from time to
time (downlink 437.200)... it's been active several evenings recently and
I've only caught a couple of people on. Understandable, of course, since
it's not been operational all the time. But when the transponder is
active, the range is good and the noise bursts on the downlink disappear
when someone transmits on the uplink.

I hope that little overview plus the technical detail on Dani's github
repository prove helpful to you.
