Hello Cathryn,

I have been using a USB and CAT interface purchased off eBay, that is from
www.xggcomms.com It isn't cheap (like $70), but it is mostly plug and
play--USB connection provides sound card and COM port, and cabling. Here
is why I say "mostly" plug and play: I had to open up the box and bypass
the audio so it would work properly on the Fox satellites for telemetry; as
shipped the low frequency audio needed for Fox telemetry wasn't making it
to the PC, it was being filtered out. I honestly forget---I think I just
lifted a wire and resoldered to bypass an audio transformer....

Anyhow, I currently use the above interface with a TS-2000x for both Fox
satellite telemetry and 9600 baud packet on Falconsat-3. Nice device and
I'm satisfied--you might explore.
