[amsat-bb] Satpc32 and ICOM 9700

Hi Rick

I would have to say, my experience is not the same. I use the VFO knob all
the time, just like I was on 20M and I have never had an issue. I actually
does work as it should and it continues to doppler tune just fine.

Mine is on the USB port. Maybe we should compare settings. If I had the
problem you are seeing, I would try reducing the baud radio (or even try
increasing it). I am at 19200, but I bet you could safely run at 9600 as
the amount of data being moved is pretty trivial. I am away from my
computer, but I think my interval speed is set to 30.

The issue I have is that about once a week, the SATpc32 and the radio fail
to communicate. Then, I turn off the radio and shutdown SATpc32. I
restart both and it is fine for another week or so.
