hopefully they'll leave the PMS on packet and the SAFEX repeater activated
so Mir becomes a very big hamsat, at least for us.  That assumes of course
that the solar panels stay aligned with the sun .. if it drifts off
alignment the station will tumble dark and dead until a cosmonaut crew can
get up there with a Soyuz and realign it ..
