Yes, all USB ports are set never to go to sleep. I've even tried with
external powered hub and issue still remains. Gone through all the
settings with a fine tooth comb too. Unplugging/replugging the USB
cable as Erich suggested also doesn't work and he also says there is a
problem.
There's currently a thread "IC-9700 with SatPC32 not updating" at
ic-9700 at groups.io where users are having the same issue.
Been using SatPC32 for many years with FT-847 and IC-9100 and it's been
great. Only now with the IC-9700, there is this problem. The satellite
scene in VK is quiet so never really had to use the VFO much to scan the
bandpass on linear birds. RS-44 changed this and it is busy. Many
users now can be heard from SE Asia.
So, I've currently downgraded my setup to use CI-V, as it's proving a
hassle with RS-44.
Will give PSTrotator a go and see if the issue remains.
